I am a born and raised Michigander. Part Yooper, part Canadian, half Scottish, full Detroiter. After bouncing around in a few different universities (Go MSU!), I finally settled in at Rochester College. I graduated with a B.S. in Christian Ministry and minors in Management & Business in 2007. I have spent the last 5 years working in community with churches and organizations around Southeast Michigan to develop elevate Detroit.
I am a bit of a hippie (but not a dirty hippie), often go without shoes and enjoy sleeping under the stars. Hobbies include enjoying nature, writing, ice hockey, snowboarding, playing pool, kayaking, camping, exploring, fishing and quoting Monty Python far more than people realize. I am terrified of sharks, but love swimming in saltwater.
Besides kryptonite, my weaknesses include bad aim, no rhythm and poor sleeping habits.
